The Tussle Goes on

Of late there are talks on ministerial level of stopping certian major projects that were supposed to go on in states held by the Pakatan. It looks like the Federal Authority is not willing to develop states run by Pakatan. Tussles between political parties is affecting the livelihood of the rakyat. It looks like politicians are more concern about power rather than development of the nation---- even at state level.

Can the state government seek the help of legal advisors as to the legality of managing state projects on its own. If the limitation is not laid down by the state constitutions, but being ammended by BN state government, Pakatan government should consider a "change" in such amendment, reverting it to its original setting. There should not be too much of restriction for the state government to develop the state, otherwise, the state government is just a "puppet" or a "tool" of the federal authority. Therefore, a legal consultation is necessary.

If it is true that such restriction is imposed upon the state government, and the federal authority is not willing to assist the state government in carrying out the projects, it is time for Pakatan to consider taking over the Federal Government as soon as possible as it claims to be. The longer the delay, the more the tussles goes on. It is all for the sake of national building, not any individual party glory. It is to create a better Malaysia.

This is as good as saying - "States under the control of Pakatan Rakyat do not belong to Malaysia" and if that is so, perhaps it is time the federal government consider "exempting" the people in these states from paying tax to the nation. If they insist on collecting tax from these states even though they are in the hands of the opposition, then they should carry on with whatever projects that have been scheduled as the people in these states deserve these projects which they have paid for with their taxes.

An alternative is for the federal government to "disown" these states and let them become independent!
