Let us talk about patriotism. It is not placing numerous national flags on the vehicle. It is not flying hte national flag on tree top or out od the window. It is not talk about patriotism, it is a positive contribution to nation building.
1. Placing the national security on its no.1 agenda and willing to defend the national soverignty.
2. Upholding the national constitutions and being loyal to our King and Sultans.
3. Contributing to building a strong national economy
4. Giving preferences to national products such as our national cars.
5. Help to build up the various communities and promote peace and harmony. Thus creating a very stable society, attracting tourists to the country.
6. Introducing attractive investment atmosphere and prepare a deligent and competent workforce to meet the demand in the market places.
7. Be a good host welcoming and promoting tourism.

Can we call those who have siphoned the national fund into personal properties a patriotic person? In fact such act is an act of weakening the national reserve, causing of weak economy, and resulting in hardship for the common people.
Patriotism comes from within our conscience and not something to be indoctrinated into us. I remember the days when RTM broadcasted the "SETIA" trailer. I laugh each time I saw the trailer. Is the government so naive as to think that by screening the trailer, Malaysians would be made to love this country?
Malaysians do love this country and in fact proud of it. Only thing is the administration itself which has smudged the name of the nation.
