New Regulation Against Political Opportunists

What caused PKR to lose Perak State government? YB who stood on PKR flag chosed to resigned from PKR and yet remaining in YB seat. Placing themselves for grab----who knows what price to pay for?

There are others who knew they cannot stand to win as an independent candidate. They 'borrowed' the PKR ticket to get into YB seats and then finding a reason to quit PKR.Very often it is these ADUN seat and MP status that sell well.By quiting from a party you are out for grab. Even though some called themselves Independent candidate. They should have tested their popularity standing as an independent candidate to prrof their worth. This they know very well would not work.

Therefore if Rakyat put PKR into power, taking over Putrajaya, PKR must see that a legislation is made to prevent such situation to repeat. It must be made clear that anyone who quit the party which put them into ADUN or MP, they automatically lose their seat and status. It will be up for a by election.

The pay and allowances of ADUN and MP will be proposed to be one and a half time of the present scale. However, when one quit and lost his seat, he lose every benefit that comes with it. When one is found convicted in court of any form of corruption and criminal act, they lose their seat and status as well as all the pay and allowances that comes with it. It will mean they will be stripped of every thing an ADUN and MP enjoys.

We hope such legislation will rid of corruption and money politic. It will rid of political opportunists as well as rid of mindset of an "investment" in politic.

Malaysians must give their support to ensure this dream comes through in paving the way for a better Malaysia.

Candidates for the Next General Election

ALL Pakatan Rakyat component parties must set to spot talents for the next General Election. Not anybody. It must be someone who can perform and love Malaysia. Someone who holds fast to Malaysian Malaysia and A Better Malaysia mindset.

Candidates must have a minium qualification: conversant in Bahasa and English or Mandarin. People who has a minimum education of at least SPM and above. People who have shown much concern for the nation and the masyarakat (the people).

Candidates who have good reputation among the community.People who can work, and work hard. People who talk sense and no nonsesnse.

Allow time to get to know all potential candidates. Give opportunity to let them tell the party leaders their view of the present Malaysia and what they hope to acheive if PKR gives them a chance to stand for MP or State Assembly man.

Each selection panel must be fair and just, no berat sebelah, but be fiar to all potential candidates. Watchout for opportunists, who pretend to be hard working at certain time. Look for consistency in a person's character. Not boastful and proud.

Check on his track record not as a politician, but as a member of the community.
Each candidate presented in the next GE must be ambitious to build up a Better Malaysia.
